The Orthodox Church is the original Church founded by Jesus Christ which he promised the gates of hell would not prevail against. Men are imperfect, the Church however IS perfect and Whole.

I sorta' think that it's refreshing, maybe even HEALTHY, for a church to have all of it's rows out where everybody can see them.





BTW: As I heard it, the big noise about refusing to let freshmen attend the seminary involves 2 STUDENTS!

That one's probably going to backfire in somebody's face.
The Churches are filled with Human beings, they are flawed just as any other creature and person is. To judge the Churches based solely on the indiscretions of a few does not do justice to the good works that have been done by the many. Every Church and religious group has had at some point in time an indiscretion that many call into question when talking about it's validity. Do not let the actions of a few steer you away when there is plenty more to look at and be thankful for. One priest may admit to having done an illegal act but that does not do justice for the thousands of people that listened to his words of compassion and went out and helped others improve their lives and are better for it.
Every group has their scandals. We're human.





Only the Roman Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church can claim Apostolic Succession.


There is no historic connection between Christ and Protestants. Jesus and his apostles lived 1500 years before the Protestant Reformation.
the true religion does not blow up people. so that about 18% of religion not true. so then there is 82% left.. the true religion does not teach about hell cause thats a lie and thats about 42% are not true so that leaves us with 40% letf the true religion does not hate others for their beliefs and thats 100% of all religions . the true religion does not stop a preist from getting married. a true religion does not have its own personal concept of the truth . the true religion does not have sex offenders as priests. the true religion does not teach lies. the true religion does not teach things that they cant prove or be dogmatic. so their is no true religion. they all lie and thats the truth . so didnt the devil tell the first lie? who is the god of religion?
Read Jude! That's quite interesting. Revelation Chapters 2-3 and 1st Timothy 4....It's not just one church or denomination
Do you know every sect of Christianity has horrible scandals? It's not just secluded to the Orthodox Church.
